I received front shocks December 6 but just now being able to install them January 19. Mechanic told me the driver side was defected from a factory and can’t be used. Not sure if I can get money back for it, but I’m leaving a review hopefully I can. Communication

Install process was smooth, just be careful removing the bolts off the old unit, I had one of the heads snap off on me. Not comparable OEM
Bought these to replace the original struts on my 2000 4runner that were starting to go. These are not an adequate replacement, even though they are marketed as so. They are not strong enough to lift the rear door on their own, yet they provide strong resistance trying to push it down.
